Mission

WE BELIEVE IN A FAIR AND EQUAL SOCIETY WHERE ALL LGBTQIA+ PEOPLE CAN BE FULLY RESPECTED AS WHOM WE ARE MEANT TO BE, AND THAT WE ARE BORN THIS WAY. STARTING FROM GETTING RESPECTED, WE BELIEVE THAT OUR FULL POTENTIAL WILL THRIVE IN THE REAL WORLD AND THE WEB3 WORLD.

  • There still are places in the world where LGBTQIA+ have a hard time freely holding hands, kissing,..etc in public places. We’re on a mission to promote acceptance and build respect for who we naturally are.
  • We start by making a global map of places(cafe, bars, restaurants, clubs, hospitals,... etc) where LGBTQIA+ can be fully accepted(The BTW map) as the way we are born.
  • We build world-wide scale of acceptance for LGBTQIA+ by promoting campaigns, and spreading our vision so that The BTW map can cover the entire globe.
  • The Metaverse and Web3 world are meant to be a space without boundaries, where anybody can enter, and be whomever they want.
  • We believe that ART is the most powerful and effective way to convey message to the public, and the most influential art form of this era is NFT.
  • By the issuing BTW NFTs, we ought to expand LGBTQIA+ representation in the NFT space. Born This Way allows art lovers to own a unique art piece while also making the NFT space more diverse and inclusive.
  • Furthermore, we build a fund to guide real-world LGBTQIA+ activists, artists, coders and many others to join the web3 community and brighten the web3 world into a better place with more diversity and more message.

  • Our vision is to promote acceptance and build the biggest global LGBTQIA+ community(the BTW discord, the BTW map) in which people feel free to make friends, hang out in the real and web3 world, share stories, learn, support one another and be the beautiful selves as who we are born.
  • Born This Way is founded to eliminate discrimination, advocate for equality, provide access to social support, and protect basic rights for the LGBTQIA+ community, and furthermore guide LGBTQIA+ activists, artists, coders, and many others to join the web3 world.
  • Join us in our journey as we celebrate the incredible LGBTQIA+ community rising on the blockchain while supporting important causes in our society that we are passionate about.
  • BTW’s vision is to build an inclusive real world and web3 world through its collection and community. Together, we can create opportunities for anyone around the world to be owners, creators, and contributors in this new era.

    • The BTW Map

    The BTW Map is the first global LGBTQIA+ friendly map. We all had a hard time searching for new places to hang out. We often walk on eggshells when we want to hold hands or kiss in public places. From now on, we don't have to live this uncomfortable life by using the BTW map. Our map contains information about LGBTQIA+ friendly places such as cafes, hospitals, restaurants, bars, clubs,.. etc. Our map is open to anybody, and anyone can freely add information about places they know, just like the wikipedia. The BTW map grows through community collective intelligence.

    The BTW Fund

    10% of all primary sales will be reinvested in four different ways, according to the following success rate.

      25% Sold

    • 2.5% of Total NFT Sale will be used to fund artists in web3, and the real world. We are aiming to bring real-world artists to the web3 world, to make talented artists a place to grow as crypto-artists so that we can convey our message of acceptance to the public, in a more impactful way. The specific usage of our fund can be determined by our community vote.

      • 50% Sold

    • 2.5% of Total NFT Sale will be used to fund LGBTQIA+ foundations, magazines, webzines, newsletters, and other institutions for the LGBTQIA+ community so that people can get educated about diversity and equality, such as The Trevor Project, Dot Face,..etc. The specific usage of our fund can be determined by our community vote.

      • 75% Sold

    • 2.5% of Total NFT Sale will be built to make a heaven-like place called, “The BTW Club” for our LGBTQIA+ community in The Sandbox where we can easily socialize in the metaverse. We will open an exclusive club party in the metaverse: The BTW Club and in the real world for BTW holders.

      • 100% Sold

    • 2.5% of Total NFT Sale will be used to launch the official version of the BTW map, a global map of queer-friendly places including cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs, counseling centers and psychiatric hospitals. As people contribute to our map, we will give tokens as rewards. No more P2E. Say hi to Contribute-to-Earn.
